When to visit Vietnam is a very common question but not easy to answer if you do not live in Vietnam. Vietnam is separated into 3 main parts but it is known to many people that there are two main climate regions. The North covering a larger area from Ha Giang province to Hue city has harder climate conditions.
So when to visit Vietnam? In my opinion, it is the best to visit Vietnam in months from August to March annually. Some people prefer visiting the North in June and July since these two months are sunny and very suitable to visit Halong bay which has been two times recognized as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.
If you search the Internet you’ll find a lot of information about Vietnam. A nice page is Vietnam Travel, which is a blog describing different aspects related to Vietnam. Many pictures are artistic but you may create an idea about what the author want to transmit.
They also recommend a few destinations in Vietnam, like:
• Con Dao Island
• Da Lat
• Hanoi
• Ho Chi Minh City
• Hoi An
• Hue
• Mui Ne - Phan Thiet
• Nha Trang
• Vung Tau

The best time to visit Vietnam is in January to March. Enjoy the Tet celebration in March. All other months will either be too hot or too rainy. If you are there from June to August you be sitting next to an A/C throughout your whole vacation.
