My television, which has integrated digital, keeps breaking up or freezing, what is the problem. Is it a problem with the television or the aerial?

  1. tv installer says:

It is probably that there is a storm in the area & is affecting the signal.
    I had it all afternoon.

Ok if you’ve got intergrated digital and the picture is breaking up freezing , like little mozaic tiles all over the screen its the aerial signal going into the tv …. nothing else. If its only started happening the last couple of days its probably the weather. Take the aerial out of the set , or it may be going to a dvd recorder or video recorder first take the aerial out and hit the end onto your hand , make sure theres no water coming out of the end. You can also unscrew the end carefully and make sure its all secure. none of the meshy copper must be touching the copper inner core of the aerial lead. If the probablem keeps happening try getting a cheap aerial booster from argos or woolworths.. good luck

you set is not getting enough signal. either from your cable or satellite or over the air.

If you have sky then there is a storm somewhere and it is interfering with the satalite signal.

    Maybe your TV needs counseling.

Well do you have Sattelite? If so im betting it has something to do with that… I if you have cable… check your connections… could be a bad wire… Either way if it doesn’t get better,,,, call your TV service provider.
