It is perfectly balanced and has zero wobble. It just barely fits my 22" HP Touchsmart 526 PC. The PC's front and rear legs are a tiny 1/16" from the edges, and they never budge, even when I accidentally hold the computer rather than the shelf to swivel. My cat has tried to climb the PC a few times, and it hasn't moved either. <br /> <br />The mechanism appears to be flimsy plastic, but it works extremely well. I lucked into the perfect solution for viewing from different points in the room. <br /> <br />Just a warning. Measure carefully. The factory illustrations all show a TV on a center pedestal. The table back is much narrower than the front, which isn't made entirely clear by the product description. Fortunately my computer has two front legs and one center back stand. Our new TV doesn't have a swivel base, and we need to get to the side or back of it to plug in game cords, etc. so this table top swivel works perfectly. Nice size and very easy to put together.
