The Firewall Method
- Right click on the start menu and run Command Prompt as an Administrator.
- Once the command prompt has been opened, type in the following command and press Enter
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=”TWCYouTubeFIX” dir=in action=block remoteip=126.96.36.199/24,188.8.131.52/16 enable=yes
- Once done, simply close the command prompt and start streaming on YouTube again.

Turn off DASH Playback
1.Head over to the Chrome Web Store and download and install an extension named SPOI Options
2.Now open YouTube and you’ll notice a red colored box on the address bar
3.Click on the box and then click on options
4.You’ll be directed to a screen that looks like this
5.Scroll down to the tab named “Video codc”
6.Under that tab, click on the checkbox before “Disable DASH”
7.Finally, close the extension
Use Google DNS
1.Right click on the Network icon in the bottom right of your screen and then click on “Open Network and Sharing Center”
2.Click on “Change adapter settings” on the left panel
3.Double click on the Internet connection you’re connected to and you’ll see a window like the one in the screenshot below
4.Click on “Properties” and a new Window will open
5.Double click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and a new window will open
6.Add the following values and then enable “Validate settings upon exit“
