It doesn't matter how many of these devices are released, the problem isn't the device itself it's the service behind it that counts and nobody is getting it right. At the moment AppleTV is like buying an iPod that doesn't import CDs without 3rd-party software and you can only buy terrible quality music & then only if you're in the US! Opening up to YouTube was compromising enough, I just hope they don't open it up to spurious, legacy file formats (DivX etc.) that have no guarantee of playing anyway. That'll totally compromise the product. The download + WLAN streaming is excellent and I'm sure it's one of the best product experiences around but until 720p TV shows & Movies are available to rent/buy or rent-to-buy it's going nowhere.
